The Maha Laxmi murti located in this temple is one of the most rare murtis around the world and currently the only one in Canada. The goddess herself is posed in a seating position measuring up to 5.1 feet tall. Her right hand with which she blesses, another with which she showers one with wealth while the remaining two hands contain a lotus flower each, which along with the elephant residing in her feet, represent prosperity. The Hindu shastras state that if one visits a murti such as this for 40 consecutive Fridays, he or she will not only flourish financially but also gain success exponentially.
